Well then. *dusts off cobwebs* We'll just pretend it hasn't been eight months (ahem) and get on with it. A new layout here, which I'm not sure I like much, but is preferable to the previous 23 attempts I made. (Oh, how I wish that number was a joke!) It seems I can't stay away from the greyscale, but at least I managed a few bright colours this time. Please let me know if you run into any troubles with it.
More exciting than the layout, though, is the fact that this site has been online, in some form or another, for ten years. Insane! I haven't talked to Rose (the original owner of this site) in a long time, but I'm sure she'd be thrilled to know that it hasn't died out yet. I really do want to thank everyone who continues to visit this site, and I'm sorry I suck sometimes. It means a lot that you all still visit and use this site to it's fullest. I love running this site and I hope to continue doing so for a long time yet.
Okay, done being a sap now. ♥
Just a heads up that Robert will be presenting at this years Tony Awards, which take place this Sunday (June 10) at 8pm, and are being broadcast kinda live on CBS. Apparently, it's part of their ploy to make people watch by bringing in TV stars.
Go figure.
I spent some time today tinkering around the site and made several additions. The most exciting of which, if you ask me, is the video clip of Robert performing "The Sadder, But Wiser Girl" from The Music Man back in 2001 - as well as 56 photos from the performance. (Many, many thanks to Lot49 on both counts!)
» The Music Man - 56 Images
» The Music Man - "The Sadder, But Wiser Girl" video
Also, in my never-ending quest to return the gallery to it's former glory...
» Driven - 154 screencaps, 1 promotional image
» Married to It - 227 screencaps, 1 promotional image
» 2007 Fox Upfronts - 2 HQ images
» House Charity Tees Launch - 4 HQ images, 1 MQ image
» Phoenix House Awards - 8 HQ images
Finally, if you visit the official site for the Bridge to Terabithia movie, you can download a preview of the audiobook, which was narrated by Robert. (Downloads > Audiobook) I definitley recommend it! (The book, the audiobook, the movie - take your pick, it's all wonderful.)
Ahoy! I'm pleased to say that the article archive is (finally) back up - a very boring task, let me tell you. But it looks pretty and stuff, so it's all good. Plus, I'd forgotten about this, which cracks me up.
Anywho. A few days ago, I uploaded new linking buttons for the fanlisting because the old ones were... well, old. More recently (like, five minutes ago) I added some journal icons - a whole eight of 'em! I know, it's all very impressive. ;)
... Schmoly!
Um, wow. Seriously, September?? Man, I suck. Especially since the gallery has been broken for about the last five months and I haven't done jack all about it. I feel really bad, this site is my precious(sssssssss). But no more lazy! I'm back from the year of whatever the hell I was off doing (is it sad that I don't even really know?) and am dead set on returning this site to it's former glory of King of the Web. King, I say!
Ahem. Dramatics aside, I really do apologize to anyone who still visits and has been waiting for the return of my glorious sense of humour the site, and to those of you who just stumbled upon this place through Google and are like "wtf is she on?" (No one knows, alas.) I'm about to start fixing the gallery, but first a couple little bits of information that make my brain do a happy dance.
Firstly, in news that actually made me jump out of my chair in excitement, In the Gloaming is being released on DVD for the first time on May 29. Also, The Manhattan Project is being rereleased - which means actual extras this time, including a 1986 trivia track. It hits stores on June 19. (See the cover here.)
Finally, check out House Charity Tees, where you can order your very own Everybody Lies t-shirt. All proceeds go to mental health charities, making it a very worthwhile way to spend $20. :)
EDIT: Gallery is fixed, though naturally out of date. :P
Just a reminder that the third season of "House" starts tonight at 8pm EST (an hour earlier than last year!). :D
Woot, this site is fresh 'n sexy again! Not in complete working order, but gosh darn it, we're pretty and that's what counts. (... Or not!)
Anyway, this actual update is a quick one, but the first of several PSA's that Robert filmed for the NJSPCA (a working link this time!) is online at their website. Please take a minute to give it a watch.

"House"
